The successful candidate will have:Previous experience preparing artwork for either brochures, signboards or newspaper advertisementsGood knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and IllustratorThe ability to manage and work on multiple jobs at one timeA proactive nature and the ability to solve problems independentlyAn eye for detailExcellent spelling and good verbal and written EnglishExcellent interpersonal skills when dealing with clients
Desirable skills include:An understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and WordAn understanding of a PC environmentExperience with digital laser printers, large format poster printers and copiers

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills: - Strong working knowledge of Adobe CS applications and Quark - Excellent Photoshop skills, as a bulk of the work requires manipulating psd files with complex layers
- File transfer protocol - Experience in creating & manipulating multi channel, spot colour files is a must
- Digital proofing - Printing process - Printing separations - Trapping - Preflight - Colour correction - Colour profiling - Pdf workflow - Troubleshooting - Problem solving You will have excellent communication skills and an ability to work under pressure
You must also have the ability to learn new workflow systems and adapt to new procedures
Salary $50k + Super
