Position Summary This position provides a specialist clinical psychology resource to the Mental Health Units located at the Shellharbour Hospital campus with duties that include assessment, treatment, consultation, group work, evaluation and collaborative practice within a recovery focussed model of care

Recognised post graduate degree in Clinical Psychology

Current registration with the NSW Psychologists Registration Board

Demonstrated skills in providing comprehensive psychological assessment of individuals with acute, enduring and complex mental health problems

Demonstrated ability to plan, deliver and evaluate evidence based clinical interventions that are known to be effective for individuals with a range of mental health problems

Demonstrated understanding of the role of clinical psychologist within public mental health services
6
Well developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
7
Commitment to Quality Improvement, OH&S and EEO principles

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment

Commitment to professional development through maintaining and updating professional skills and knowledge base

Computer competency

Current NSW Class C driver's licence

Position Summary To provide consumer focused, individually tailored, clinical rehabilitation services to support the recovery process for people with mental health problems, in partnership with disability support and other services
The service assists people to acquire and use the strengths, skills, supports and resources necessary for successful and satisfying living, learning and working in the environments of their choice
Essentials " Degree in Occupational Therapy and/or eligibility for membership of the NSW Association of Occupational Therapists;" Current, unrestricted NSW driver's licence;" Experience working in mental health with a commitment to a consumer focused, recovery oriented approach
" Knowledge of best practice rehabilitation principles and current models of practice
" Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate individual and group clinical rehabilitation services
" Ability to promote community linkage and partnership building
" Excellent communication skills and commitment to a multi-disciplinary team model
