The successful applicant will join the multi-disciplinary team based at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, and provide both community outreach and residential services
The position is classified at a senior level and would be most suitable for applicants with demonstrated skills and experience in the selection criteria to follow:
Demonstrated skills in the assessment of and the appropriate clinical management of complex dual diagnosis conditions

Evidence of a professional frame of reference that is able to accommodate a diverse range of approaches and strategies in a flexible and creative manner while remaining empirically grounded and client focused

Superior written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships and to address and resolve conflict

Familiarity and confidence in community networking, engagement and development activities

The ability to meet and report on agreed performance indicators
Education & Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Psychology/ and or Health, Behavioural/Social Sciences

Current drivers licence
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a mental health/drug and alcohol setting

Experience in intersectoral service development, and the development of collaborative partnerships, is also desirable

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated people for the role of Medical Secretaries within the Department of Mental Health at Fremantle Hospital & Health Service
This position is responsible for a complete secretarial service to the designated area/officers
This position transcribes correspondence, memoranda, minutes, clinical reports / discharge summaries and presentations from dictation or draft
Prepares materials including overheads, slides and documentation for presentations at lectures and conferences from dictation or draft
Proof reads and edits copy for completeness and correctness
