Position Summary The position of Personal Assistant Human Resource exists within the Human Resources Directorate of Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service (NSCCAHS) The position is initially located within the Human Resource Department located in the Northern Sydney Sector at Macquarie Hospital While the position has direct reporting responsibility to Manager Human Resource Business Information Systems Unit it provides administrative support to all the above listed senior managers in the Human Resource team The Personal Assistant Human Resources will take a proactive role in ensuring that administrative responsibilities are undertaken in an efficient, professional and timely manner Essentials o Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft and other computer applications for example MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, GroupWise, MS Access, o Demonstrated ability to type documents and letters, create flowcharts, format complex documents, format PowerPoint presentations etco Demonstrated ability to coordinate meeting schedules including venues,o Proven record of excellent communication skills (written/verbal), o Ability to take accurate minutes of meetingso Proven customer service skills,o Ability to work as a team member and carry out work with minimal supervision,o Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks in an environment with competing manager demands Desirables o Understanding of the Human Resource environmento Experienced in Dictaphone typingo Current NSW Drivers Licence |

Job Description
Reporting to the Director of HR and working alongside the HR Administrator, your main task will be to manage the training function within the hotel as well as coordinating the overall HR Function This diverse role will also see you managing day-to-day HR administrations with all HR issues including workers compensation, industrial relations, recruitment and coordination of annual performance reviews Some of your key responsibilities will include but not limited to: Coordinating cross training for team members when requested Assisting with the administration and coordination of the team member recognition scheme, service awards, gift and celebrations Conduct exit interviews with team members prior to their departure from the hotel Utilising the HR database and other sources of tracing to ensure all HR programs and activities are accurately and promptly activated The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be an experienced HR individual who is looking for the next stage in their career Your strong generalist experience partnered with your training background, and warm personality will enable you to build strong relationships within your area Experience working in a similar position is preferred and you will need to be tertiary qualified Ideally, you will have a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment as well as a background in a hotel environment What's on Offer Great salary - $50,000 - $55, 000 package Supportive team environment CBD fringe location Car Park!!
