My client is a leading player across Australia in providing Telco Solutions from VOIP, Data, Internet and mobiles into ISP s and the Wholesale market
They offer a fun, driven yet professional environment and have a track record of promoting from within
Due to a recent promotion they have a vacancy for a consultative Business Development Manager to join their VIC team
Your role as a BDM will be to approach ISP s and Wholesalers in the market and sell the entire product range, mainly Data
You will also be given a few Key Accounts to manage which your portfolio will grow over time
You will present on a face to face basis with decision makers on all levels and you will report directly to the National Sales Manager
To be the successful candidate for this role you will ideally have a Telco Data background with contacts within ISP s and the Wholesale market
If you have not sold directly within this market I will also consider you if you have sold Hardware or similar products in Telco to the Corporate marketplace with knowledge of ISP s
You will be driven for New Business with a consultative and passive sales approach
You will build trust and rapport easily with clients, listen to their needs and NOT be just an order taker
Remuneration will be by way of a $70-90k base depending on experience with a strong commission/bonus structure with an OTE $120k+ depending on sales achievements
