Our client s high profile as one of Sydney s leading plaintiff personal injury law firms is the result of exceptional professionalism and its ability to achieve outstanding results for its clients
It now seeks to enhance its standing and increase market share with the appointment of an experienced personal injury Paralegal with Vietnamese language skills to properly meet the demand for its services in South West Sydney


Key activities in the role include preparing correspondence, drafting court documents in firm precedents formats, organising medical appointments and interpreting medical records, and ongoing management of a high volume file load
While a background in plaintiff personal injury insurance is ideal, Paralegals with defendant firm injury insurance experience or from insurance companies will be highly regarded
You will need to demonstrate previous experience in the successful management of over 100 case files concurrently and have a current, in depth knowledge of the current NSW Workers Compensation system and the operations of MAS (Medical Assessment Service) and CARS (Claims Assessment and Resolution Service)


Confident, articulate, results focused and with the ability to work with a high level of autonomy, you will deal variously with clients, barristers, insurance company staff and their representatives, defendant legal representatives and Motor Accident Authority staff in common law claims covering personal injury, public liability, professional indemnity and medical negligence


The firm offers a strong peer support environment and ongoing mentoring and training from specialist management
You will be provided with a dedicated Administrative Assistant to help manage the high volume workload

The salary package (base salary and superannuation) is in the range $60,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience
