Job Description


The primary responsibilities for this role include:

Managing, controlling and coordinating all local production resources (people, machines and materials) delivering the agreed upon production plan

Developing an efficient manufacturing environment by optimising people and equipment effectiveness through relevant development programs and ensuring all maintenance schedules are adhered

Communicating production performance and non-compliance to planning

Monitoring performance and process to collaboratively set and deliver continuous improvement objectives

Ensuring Quality and OHS are maintained/adhered to at all times



The Successful Applicant


Will Possess:

Degree qualifications in Management, Food Technology, Science or Engineering
Demonstrated achievement of improvement and change in a traditional manufacturing environment
Intimate knowledge of ISO and /or Safety management systems and have experience in their application in an FMCG environment
Experience with other continuous improvement programs will be highly regarded (i
e Six Sigma, TQC, Lean Manufacturing)
Knowledge of business operation including GMP, SOP and safety
Excellent communication skills, influencing and change management skills, with management and shop floor personnel
Demonstrated leadership of a mature employee participation / consultation process in a manufacturing environment
