This is a unique opportunity to join an Australian based boutique software development company that has been successfully growing organically locally and is now also looking to expand in the UK
They provide a unique software package to leading financial service organisations and major blue chip organisations

The company is mainly comprised of Software Developers and Client Relationship Managers, but has now come to the point where they are looking to expand office operations to include a hybrid Testing ⁄ QA position
This position will interact with all parts of the business and be the sole point for Testing of new releases, and will define the Quality Assurance process

This is a newly defined greenfield opportunity for an experienced hands on test manager to asses, establish and maintain test ⁄ QA policy and procedure across the organisation
You will be able to draw on your experience of testing in the financial services sector and understanding of financial products ⁄ risk management to establish a best practice for future operations

Required Experience:
A minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in a similar Quality Assurance management or Senior Testing position
ITIL or similar standard for Quality Assurance
Defining test scripts and test plans within a fast paced SDLC environment
Configuration and management automated testing software
Working knowledge of financial instruments, particularly Interest Rates, FX and Commodities
Experience with financial software solutions, preferably in Treasury Management or Risk Management
Personal Skills:

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently, lead others to perform QA roles and promote a culture of excellence
This is a small ⁄ medium organisation so the day to day responsibilities may vary and give you the opportunity to contribute to other areas outside of QA ⁄ Testing
These will depend on the successful individuals' skills, attributes and interests but could include software development, network administration, etc
