A Mine Surveyor opportunity has arisen for a role in Queensland
Reporting to a Senior Mine Surveyor you will be responsible for:
Conducting set outs on a daily basis
Preparing volume reports on a monthly basis
Ensuring all minimum requirements are met
Survey control of equipment
Measurements
Planning of mine direction
This company are seeking driven individuals who strive for success
You will ideally hold a qualification in surveying and have several years experience
Strong IT skills and a driving licence are beneficial as is experience with Leica and Vulcan

As a result of my clients rapid growth they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Estimator who has the option of being based either at their Brisbane offices or you can travel along with the projects you are assigned to
Responsibilities will include the following:
Completion of estimates to company tendering procedures using in house systems
Preparation of Feasibility studies and also budget quotations
Professional input into the completion of tender reviews and sign offs
Liaise with suppliers/contractors/ stakeholders in a competent and professional manner
Oversee other aspects of tender completion including risk and opportunity analysis
Offer assistance to various projects and any major pricing variations
Accurate review of outside contractor estimates
Maintain consistent estimation assumptions across project portfolios

It is essential that you have relevant engineering / trade qualifications along with extensive Estimating experience within a heavy engineering construction environment
This experience will have enhanced your competence in commercial/legal skills in review as well as our preparation and negotiation of contract documentation
In addition to this your communication, negotiation and dispute management skills will be of the highest standard
