Position Summary Justice Health provides a nursing service within Metropolitan & Country Police Cells Complexes
Nurses employed at these complexes work as sole practitioners providing a high level of assessment and nursing service to clients prior to their placement in Correctional Centres
Applications are sought from Registered Nurses who have excellent skills in a combination of any of the following nursing disciplines: Primary Health, Mental Health and Alcohol & Other Drugs
Essentials " List A Registered Nurse accredited with the NSW Nurses Registration Board" Sound knowledge of nursing, theory and practice" Sound knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunities and Occupational Health and Safety legislation
" Commitment to continuous quality improvement
" Effective skills, interest and experience in multidisciplinary health team work
" Excellent communication skills including verbal and written reporting

" Demonstrated ability to manage emergency situations and competent in conducting health assessments
