Job Description

As Building Maintenance Manager you will be reporting directly to the General Manager, and will be responsible for the overall maintenance and continual improvement of the commercial facility
Providing key support to all business functions, your key responsibilities will include;

Managing qualified professionals to ensure the continual maintenance and upgrade of the facility
Optimising the overall property and enhancing the customer experience
Ensure a culture of safety across the facility
Work in conjunction with the General Manager to define and achieve annual maintenance budgets and cost management

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have operated within a commercial facility in a maintenance capacity
Experience and understanding of the commercial environment would be highly sort-after

Working for this successful retailer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating resources for internal and external asset maintenance issues across NSW


The role itself covers the day to day operations of the contract including assessing and reviewing all maintenance work undertaken, complete administration and reporting management and a strong focus on customer service in regards to client needs and internal communication


The successful candidate will portray a background in Facilities Management supported by Electrical or HVAC trade qualifications
Contractor management is a major part in this role; therefore solid technical skills and building maintenance experience across multiple retail sites is essential
