Our client currently has an opportunity for an experienced Head Chef or experienced Sous Chef to run the kitchen of this successful restaurant located in Scone NSW


The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a modern Australian menu

As Executive Sous Chef, your primary responsibilities include:
Ensuring all food items are produced to the Resort’s standard
Implementation of HACCP procedures
Prioritising multi task situationsTo be successful in this role you will have:
Creativity & culinary flair;
Experience in rostering & supply ordering;
A hands on approach with good training skills;
Excellent communication skills, flexibility and a dynamic task-oriented approach;
Minimum 4 years supervisory experience in a busy production kitchen in an International Hotel, coupled with excellent leadership skills;
Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training highly desirable

The position of Executive chef has become available
The role includes
Managing all aspects of the hotels kitchens
Producing an excellent food product in all areas
Managing the kitchen team of chefs , cooks & Kitchen hands
Managing the food cost % below budget
Managing the payroll % below budget
Maintaining a hygienic environment throughout the food & beverage department
Actively participate in the management of food & beverage in the hotel
Actively work as part of the senior management team
