We are currently seeking a suitable applicant to fill the role of an Electronics Technical Officer
Job Description The responsibility of this position is to carry out electrical safety checks, maintain asset register, maintenance and repair of fine electronic and optical equipment
Construct mechanical equipment and replacement parts not generally available

Electronics Technician - Immediate Start

Our Client needs an experienced Electronic Technician who has worked on commercial/military shipping or oil and gas sites, installing systems requiring a high degree of electrical cabling, and physical installation of electronic/navigation kit
They would also look favourably on a person who would have the capability to build and lead an installation team
You will be a specialist operative with troubleshooting or repairing/upgrading electronic Printed Circuit Boards, to component level
You will have to be used to the miniature components used on leading edge electronic boards (used in boxes such as wireless routers or other such small electronics, including Mobile Phones )
Essential Requirements: Recognized qualification in Electronics (diploma or trade certificate) or equivalent
Ideally with education and experience in, Electronic or Navigation Systems
Experience in commercial or industrial installation of electronic
Experience with RF propagation will be highly regarded
Background in an electronics /electrical field
Experience with Surface Mount Technology
Must be able to work unsupervised and approach activities in an organised way
